Yes — skill exchange is free, worldwide, forever. Pros are an optional extra: verified experts who charge per session.

What makes a match?

Someone who teaches a skill you want to learn, sharing a language with you. A great match also wants a skill you teach.

How do ratings work?

You can only rate someone after a real interaction — 50 messages or a 5-minute call. Ratings become public references.

Who sees my location?

Members only ever see your city and an approximate distance. Your exact location is never shown.

How are Pros verified?

Every Pro applies with real credentials — qualifications, ID, portfolio — and our team reviews each application by hand before the verified badge appears.

When do I pay for a Pro session?

Your card is only held at booking — nothing is charged until after the session actually happens. Cancel beforehand and the hold is released in full.
