Terms of Service

LinkMeToPro is a community where members exchange skills: you teach what you know and learn what you want, for free. Members can also book paid one-on-one sessions with verified Pros. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

• You must be at least 13 years old to join.
• Use your real name — LinkMeToPro is built on trust between real people.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
• One account per person.

• Treat other members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, and discrimination are not tolerated.
• No spam, scams, or soliciting members off-platform to avoid safety protections.
• Only offer to teach skills you genuinely have.
• Free exchanges are exactly that — free. Never ask for payment for a skill exchange.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, and we review reports members submit.

• Verified Pros can offer paid sessions. Payment is collected when you book and held in escrow.
• Held payments are released to the Pro automatically 48 hours after the session ends, unless a dispute is opened.
• If a session doesn't happen or goes wrong, open a dispute from your sessions page within 48 hours — our team decides whether the payment is refunded to you or released to the Pro, and that decision is final.
• Cancelling before a session starts refunds the payment in full.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. LinkMeToPro keeps a 20% commission on paid Pro sessions; the remaining 80% belongs to the Pro. Free 15-minute intro sessions carry no fee. We may change the commission rate in the future with notice.

What you post — your profile, messages, and reviews — stays yours. You give us permission to display it within the platform so the service can work. Don't post content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights.

Members and Pros are independent people, not our employees. We verify Pro credentials at application time but cannot guarantee the outcome of any exchange or session. The service is provided “as is”; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account — see our data deletion page. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
